Assuming you practice for 12 hours a day, that’s over 800 days to become a master.

Want to become a sensational chef? Want to be an amazing artist? Better start now and work on it for a really, really long time! And don’t you dare slack off or you’ll take even longer to master your skill!

Here’s the good news: the oft-repeated “10,000 hours” rule is most likely wrong.
Some people take more time, and others take less time.

What’s truly important is the way we practice. Studies have shown that one of the best ways to retain skills and knowledge is to teach others. That’s because teaching others requires us to be familiar with our craft, breaking it down into simple steps to help our tutees understand. No wonder they say teachers are lifelong learners!

Now, we don’t mean to brag, but at PDS, we have the best of both worlds. We’ve had 26 years of practice when it comes to workplace safety, and we’ve spent a large chunk of that time dedicated to teaching and equipping workplaces to stay safe and secure.
