Safety cutters are quite necessary!
When you’re a stocker, box cutters simply won’t do. Box cutters are a great way to open cardboard boxes I guess. But… aren’t they a bit dangerous? Sure, it’s easy to avoid cutting yourself if you’re just opening one box on Amazon.
But when it’s your job to open boxes for hours and hours, day after day? You just might slip up. And even one slip up can have critical consequences. Put your mind at ease with a tool that’s perfectly suited for your line of work.
Safety cutters are NOT harder to use!
Sure, it’s used a little differently compared to box cutters. But actually, it’s easier to use!
For a standard box cutter, you need to engage the blade, use it to cut something, then retract the blade. But for safety cutters, the blade is automatically retracted after use! That’s because the blade needs to be continuously engaged for it to be able to cut, making it almost impossible to accidentally injure yourself!

Safety cutters save you money!
Most people see the price tag and immediately think that safety cutters are overpriced. After all, you can get a cheap box cutter from any neighbourhood store for a dollar!
Unfortunately, using an unsafe cutter has its own costs. Even one accident would result in big losses. You lose productivity hours, you lose morale and you lose money. Why not pay a little more for a tool that’s reliable, safe and trustworthy?
Ceramic blades are special!
“Ceramic? Isn’t that what my flower pot is made of?” Well, yes.
But some safety knives are made of ceramic for a very good reason! Ceramic may be brittle, but it’s also way sharper and hold their cutting edge longer than steel. It’s non-magnetic and do not conduct electricity at room temperature, making it ideal for specialised work environments. Next time you buy a safety cutter, consider ceramic!
